Our speaker will be Manitoba School Boards Association’s new Director of Operational Risk, Safety, Health & Liability Management, Leonard Zdrill.

Leonard brings expertise, experience and, above all, his commitment to making public education safe for staff, students and others who frequent our buildings and participate in our programming.

Leonard comes with extensive qualifications including a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from Red River College; a Project Management Certificate from Cornell University; as well as the Certificate in Management (Honours), Certificate in Human Resource Management, Certificate in Adult & Continuing Education, and a Certificate in Quality Assurance Management from the University of Manitoba.

Additionally, he brings over three decades of relevant experience across both the manufacturing and education sectors, with ready insight and wisdom achieved from his varied roles in both sectors.
