ASIS International Scholarship and Grant Opportunities
The Foundation offers a broad range of scholarships for professional certification and higher education. Following is a detailed list of available grants and scholarships. The 2023 application period opens 1 February and runs to 15 April.
No more than one certification scholarship will be awarded to an applicant each year. However, applicants may reapply for scholarship the following year.

Scholarships for Certification
To apply for one of these ASIS Certification scholarships, please complete the Certification scholarship application. You will then automatically be considered for the scholarships that best fit your situation.
To apply for an IFPO Certification scholarship, please complete the IFPO-ASIS Foundation Certification Scholarship application.

- Choice of CPP, APP or PSP online review course or PCI review set
- Includes certification exam fees for choice of CPP, PCI, PSP, or APP
- Open to ASIS members in good standing
- 2 Scholarships for active-duty law enforcement
- Choice of CPP, APP or PSP online review course or PCI review set
- Covers certification exam fees for choice of CPP, PCI, PSP, or APP
- Open to ASIS members in good standing
- Administered in partnership with the ASIS Law Enforcement Liaison Community
- 4 scholarships for active-duty, reserve, and National Guard military members
- Choice of CPP, APP or PSP online review course or PCI review set
- Covers certification exam fees for choice of CPP, PCI, PSP, or APP
- Open to ASIS members in good standing
- Administered in partnership with the ASIS Military Liaison Community
- Supports members in good standing of the North Texas ASIS chapter pursuing ASIS certification
- Honors the memory of former North Texas chapter chair, Dennis A. Noggle
- 5 scholarships + 3 scholarships for Spanish language materials
- Correspondence course & exams
- Open to all security professionals
- Scholarships provided by the International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO)

Scholarships For Senior Security Executives
The ASIS Foundation is offering one scholarship for security executives to attend the 2023 “Effective Management for Security Professionals” 4-day executive education program at the prestigious IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
The IE Business school is donating one full-tuition scholarship (valued at 4,500 euros) for their 2023 program in English, held 26-30 June 2023. Scholarship recipients must be able to travel to Spain to attend the program in person on the designated dates and must be able to pay their own travel expenses.

Scholarships For Higher Education
To be considered for one of these scholarships, please complete the Academic application. You will then automatically be considered for the correct scholarship based on your chapter membership.
- Academic support to members in good standing of the Central New Jersey ASIS chapter, or their children pursuing careers in security management or related field
- May be used for security-related study at an accredited institution of higher education
- Honors the memory of Central NJ chapter member Nicholas G. Abbaticola
- Academic support to members in good standing of chapters in Region 1C (Northern California and Northern Nevada) pursuing studies in security management or related field
- May be used for security-related study at an accredited institution of higher education
- Honors the memory of John L. “Jack” Buckley, 6th president of ASIS, 1960-61
Grants For Chapters And Organizations
(application period: 1 February-15 April)
- Recognizes an active P3 program that makes communities safer
- One $4,000 grant to a full-service law enforcement agency
- Nominations accepted from ASIS members and chapters
- Administered with support from the Law Enforcement Liaison Community (LELC)
- Covers full cost of APP or CPP Starter Kit, or 50% of Starter Kit + 5 Participant Manuals
- Includes all shipping costs and taxes
- Application period: 26 January to 31 March; grant must be used by 30 June
